That the last PML-N government has caused immense harm to country's economy is a fact that cannot be disputed by any independent and fair-minded economist in the country. A beleaguered and battered economy that it has bequeathed to the incumbent government is a matter of grave concern for even an ordinary citizen. The situation therefore shows that the government has made it clear that GDP growth target for the current fiscal year will be missed by a whopping 2 percent and would remain 4.2 percent and attributed the slowdown to stabilisation.

A lower growth rate will surely hurt the job prospects in the country.
